Melissa Brockett is a Registered Nurse and the founder of SimpleStyles by Mel, where styles are simple and care is curated. With nearly 20 years of experience in medical-surgical units, emergency care, healthcare education and management, Melissa brings a clinical perspective to haircare, understanding how health, medications, and lifestyle impact hair growth and scalp health.
Through this insight, she developed The SimpleStyles Method, a structured framework that prioritizes individualized assessment, evidence-based treatments, and long-term hair wellness. No. Only one guardian may accompany children receiving services.
No, SSBM does not accept walk-ins. We provide a personalized experience and do not double-book clients. Please join the waitlist or book a service online.
We allow a 10-minute grace period. After 20 minutes, appointments are canceled, and a $25 late fee applies.
You may reschedule your appointment. However, all cancellations and no-shows will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
Client must pay a deposit with a valid debit/credit card when booking any service, online or by phone. If they have a package credit or membership credit, please contact the salon to schedule their appointment. Gift card credits require a deposit to secure their time slot but will be refunded back at the appointment.
